Information about the illustrations
Live watercolor guest illustrations are hand-painted artworks created directly on-site during the event. They capture your guests, their outfits, and the special atmosphere of the day in a personal piece of art, serving as a unique keepsake of your special moment.
During the event, guests come to my illustration table on their own. I take a quick photo so that no one has to wait long, allowing guests to enjoy the event at ease. The illustrations are created throughout the evening and can be picked up directly at the table.
Each illustration shows a maximum of two people to ensure that as many guests as possible can take home a personal piece of art. Each illustration takes approximately 6–8 minutes to complete, ensuring a smooth and relaxed process.
In special cases, up to four people can appear in a single illustration by prior arrangement. Please note that illustrations with more than two people take more time, which reduces the total number of illustrations created during the event.
The illustrations are full-body drawings without faces, capturing the moment, outfits, and atmosphere of the guests. Each piece is created in my personal style, making it a loving and unique keepsake for your guests.
Illustrations are created on a first come, first served basis to ensure fairness for all guests. Each finished illustration is protected with a plastic sleeve. Any illustrations not collected at the table will be handed over to the client the same evening so they can be safely distributed to the guests.
This ensures a smooth process, allowing your guests to enjoy their personal keepsakes in a relaxed manner.
All illustrations are created on high-quality watercolor paper (e.g., A6, 300 g/m²). I use watercolor paints for color and fineliner pens to precisely depict silhouettes and the bodies of guests. Each illustration is finally packaged in a protective plastic sleeve to ensure it stays intact.
Important Information for Event Organizers
The artist arrives approximately 45 minutes before the agreed start time and works continuously until the end of the booked period.
All materials and supplies are brought by the artist.
On-site, only a table and two chairs are needed. If necessary, a power supply for a lamp can be provided to ensure adequate lighting.
To make sure all guests know that live watercolor guest illustrations are available, the artist provides information at her table. Additionally, at weddings, she offers small, simple cards on each table. This helps guests become aware of the opportunity to be illustrated early on. This is particularly practical, as guests can be busy during the celebration and might otherwise arrive at the illustration table too late, reducing the available painting time. The cards blend harmoniously with any decoration and ensure a smooth flow between the ceremony and the rest of the program.
